  While I will admit that their prices are a bit high. They more than make up for it in customer service! I went in to get a part for my shower. It was defective from the factory. I've purchased this kind of part from them on several occasions, never had an issue. Exchanged it with no problem. The second one was also defective from the factory. Obviously, this is out of their control. So, I had to purchase an additional part from another store. When I came in to get a refund for the second part,(it was beat up pretty bad, it got stuck due to the defect). Again I had no trouble whatsoever. In this day and age it is hard to find a business that will treat you with respect, listen to your issue, whatever it may be, and correct it for you if they can. Most places are immediately suspicious if you try to return or exchange anything. Thank you, Oakdale Ace Hardware! You will continue to get my business.
